KYLE SCHAEFER is a founding member of The Group Lab and Recent Cutbacks in NYC. He most recently helped create and performed in Kevin!!!!! (a four-performer multi-media puppet show parody of Home Alone with a live a cappella choir) and will be performing Hold On To Your Butts (Recent Cutbacks’ original two-man and foley artist shot-for-shot live reimagining of Jurassic Park) in Chicago in April. HOTYB was a Time Out NY Critic’s Pick and Best Comedy Show of 2014, and has had multiple sold-out runs at the PIT as well as touring to Chicago and Indianapolis.
Born and raised in Tulsa, OK, Kyle is a classically trained actor with 20 years of dance experience as well as a musician (guitar/ukulele). He plays a lead in the upcoming independent short films Float and Turnpike, and on the new web series Brokers. He also recently appeared in Wandering Bark Theatre Company‘s production of Hedda (Gabler) as George Tesman at the IRT Theater.
